Paul Kennedy Vogl 1954-2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Kennedy Vogl from Mercier, Quebec, on March 9, 2025 at the age of 71. Paul died peacefully surrounded by his family after having received visits from many dear friends during his hospital stay. He was the loving husband of Kimberley, the proud father of Nathan (father-in-law to Avril) and the devoted grandpa of Maverick. He also leaves behind his five siblings (spouses) Keith (Linda), Brian, Deb, Barb, Jo Ann, his niece Haley, and nephews Dillan and Jake (Ella) as well as many dear friends. Paul was preceded in death by his parents Jake and Laura and his nephews Sam and Dustin.

Paul loved life, people and above all his loving Creator, Jehovah.

Service to be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 201 Rue Bergevin, Chateauguay, QC on March 29th at 2:00 p.m.

Sympathy

Our condolences

We have so many fond memories with your family!
We certainly weren’t created to mourn our loved ones. We simply can’t comprehend that one day they’re here and the next they’re gone. May Jehovah comfort you and bring you peace knowing Paul will soon hear Jesus’ voice say: “Paul! It’s your turn to wake up. Kim and Nathan are waiting!”.
We love you very much.

Our condolences

My deepest condolences to you Kim as well as to Nathan, Avril, Maverick and to the extended family. Paul always struck me as a gentle but strong soul who lived life as fully as possible in each moment. I remember fondly our day at the driving range a couple of years ago and how much Paul – and you of course- enjoyed that afternoon as did I. Your strong faith will see you through this challenging time and joy shall soon reign again supreme in your hearts. Paul expects nothing less from you as he looks down smiling.

Our thoughts are with you in this moment of grief

Paul reminds us of a swan. He never “honked” to make others aware of his presence. However, his clam under the surface spiritual steady feet were primed for a good chat. We look forward to welcoming him back to a peaceful pond meeting in the new world where we swim together in peace, unity and more good time chats together.

Uncle Paul,
I will never forget your witty way of telling stories. The job at Misericordia hospital in Edmonton especially comes to mind. You were such an amazing man who saw the best in everyone…even my terrible dog Ellie.
